Alcoa Presents Update on China Operations to Investors

PITTSBURGH & BEIJING--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 21, 2005--Today, in Beijing, Michael Garcia, vice president sales and marketing for Alcoa Asia Pacific, met with investors to discuss the aluminum market and Alcoa's operations in China.

Alcoa (NYSE:AA) has 13 facilities or offices in China, serving customers in numerous markets. In addition, Alcoa announced this week plans to open two more offices in Shanghai by 2007 to support rapidly growing commercial aviation and railway/rail car production and sub-assembly in that market.
