Alcoa Second Quarter Earnings Date and Conference Call

PITTSBURGH--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 29, 2005--Alcoa announced today that it plans to release second quarter 2005 earnings results after the closing bell of the New York Stock Exchange (Eastern Time) on Thursday, July 7, 2005.

In conjunction with the earnings release, the company's earnings conference call will take place the same day starting at 5:00 p.m. ET. The call will last one hour. Hosting the call will be Alcoa Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Alain Belda and Richard B. Kelson, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.
