Alcoa Fastening Systems Announces the Opening of Logistics Center in Shanghai

TORRANCE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 4, 2005--Furthering its strategy to be closer to its main customers and accompanying its growth in Asia in tune with the overall market growth, Alcoa Fastening Systems is pleased to announce the creation of Alcoa Fastening Systems (Shanghai) Co LTD. AFS Shanghai, located in the Waigaoqiao free trade zone, Shanghai, will focus on OEM and after market sales and logistics support for the full range of Alcoa Fastening Systems products produced at each of their manufacturing plants worldwide. Services include a bonded warehouse, kitting, inventory management, technical support and much more.
