Raymond B. Mitchell Named Alcoa Assistant Controller
PITTSBURGH--July 21, 1997--
Alcoa announces that Raymond B. Mitchell, 39, will become assistant
controller, Financial Analysis & Planning on August 1, 1997. He has
worked as manager of Corporate Development since joining Alcoa in May
1994.
Prior to joining Alcoa, he was director of Finance, Large Scale
Computing Division for IBM in Poughkeepsie, New York. He held numerous
financial positions during his 12 years with IBM and has extensive
business planning and analysis experience. Mr. Mitchell received a B.A.
in economics and mathematics from Dickinson College in 1980 and an MBA
from the Amos Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College in 1982.
Mr. Mitchell his wife, Katherine, and their two children reside in
Pittsburgh.
