Alcoa Announces New Appointments and Retirements
PITTSBURGH--December 1, 1997--
» Peter J. Bailey, 52, has been named president, Industrial Chemicals.
» John W. Collins III, 52, was elected an Alcoa vice president and
president, Aerospace/Commercial Rolled Products.
» L. P. (Patrick) Hassey, 51, becomes president, Alcoa Europe. He
continues as a vice president of Alcoa.
» Robert S. Hughes, 53, has been elected a vice president of Alcoa and
continues as president, Alcoa Fujikura Ltd.
» Barbara Jeremiah, 45, has been elected vice president, Corporate
Development.
» L. R. (Rick) Milner, 51, has been named vice president, Automotive.
» G. John Pizzey, 52, becomes president, Alcoa World Alumina. He
continues as a vice president of Alcoa.
» A. C. (Alan) Renken, 54, has been named president, Primary Metals.
» John M. Sibly, 54, becomes president, Bauxite and Alumina.
» Robert F. Slagle, 57, is elected executive vice president, Human
Resources and Communications.
» Paul D. Thomas, 41, is named president, Alcoa Engineered Products.
Alcoa also announces the following retirements:
» Peter R. Bridenbaugh, 57, retired as executive vice president,
Automotive.
» Michael J. Schreier, 50, retired as president, Industrial Chemicals.
