Alcoa activities generate over $1.2 billion in economic spin-offs per year in the province. Serving the aerospace, building and construction, and commercial transportation markets, Alcoa Canada operates fabricating plants in Québec, Ontario and Alberta. In 2009, Alcoa Canada, which employs more than 3960 workers, posted over $2 billion in sales.
