Peter Hong joined Alcoa in April 2007 as vice president and treasurer.  He is responsible for global treasury activities, including risk, cash, and capital management, as well as managing relationships with creditors, rating agencies and commercial banks.
 
Previously, Peter served as vice president and treasurer since 2004 for Avaya Inc., a leading business communications, applications software and services company based in Basking Ridge, New Jersey.  Prior to Avaya, he was vice president and treasurer at Ingersoll-Rand Company.  Earlier, he held several positions of increasing responsibility for Case Corporation, an international agricultural and construction equipment manufacturer located in Lake Forest, Illinois, culminating as vice president, Investor Relations and Corporate Development, following Case’s merger with New Holland, N.V.  Peter also has thirteen years of banking experience with Citibank and First Chicago.
 
Peter is a member of the National Association of Corporate Treasurers.
 
Peter obtained an MBA degree in Finance and Accounting in 1981 from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.  His undergraduate degree is in Economics, also from Northwestern.
