Robert S. (Bob) Collins
Vice President and Controller

Robert (Bob) Collins was named Alcoa Vice President and Controller in October 2013. In his new role, Bob has overall responsibility for Alcoa's global Controllership organization, which plays a key role in enabling Alcoa to be the first major company to report earnings each quarter.  He had been Assistant Controller since 2009 responsible for the Company’s global financial accounting policies.

Prior to his role as Assistant Controller, Bob was involved in M&A projects as Director of Financial Transactions and Policy, a position he assumed when he joined the company in 2005. He was the lead finance representative for a number of large transactions, including the divestiture of the Packaging and Consumer business. Before coming to Alcoa, Bob worked in the audit and M&A practices at PricewaterhouseCoopers for 14 years, where he specialized in pre- and post-acquisition due diligence services, and led multi-disciplinary teams (including tax, human resource, and information technology specialists) for transactions with values ranging from $25 million to over $1 billion.

He is a Certified Public Accountant and earned a Bachelor of Science in Commerce and a Master of Science in Accounting at the University of Virginia in 1989 and 1991, respectively.

Bob and his wife, Julie, have three daughters and one son and reside in Pittsburgh.
