Graeme Bottger was named to his present role as Executive Vice President, President of Alcoa Global Business Services (GBS) and Chief Procurement Officer in October 2013.  In this position, Graeme oversees Alcoa’s procurement, transportation, shared services and information technology organizations. He is also a member of the Alcoa Executive Council, the senior leadership group that sets strategic direction for the company.

Most recently, Graeme was vice president and controller, responsible for Alcoa's global controllership, financial planning and analysis, benefits accounting and aircraft operations.

A native of Australia, Graeme joined Alcoa in 1980 as a product accountant trainee at the company’s Point Henry facility in Australia. Since then, he has held a wide variety of corporate and business unit operational and financial management roles both in Australia and the U.S., including Vice President, Finance for Alcoa’s Engineered Products & Solutions Group, one of Alcoa's largest business units; Chief Financial Officer for Alcoa’s joint venture with Kobe Steel in Australia (KAAL); and for Alcoa Home Exteriors, a former Alcoa business, he was Vice President, Finance, responsible for Procurement, IT, Credit, Accounting and Quality; and later Vice President, Sales, where he oversaw Field Sales, Customer Support, Logistics and Pricing Administration. 

Graeme earned bachelor’s degrees in Commerce and Computer Science at Australia’s Deakin University. He also holds a diploma of Corporate Management from the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators.
