Olivier M. Jarrault
Executive Vice President, Alcoa Group President, Engineered Products and Solutions New York, New York
Olivier Jarrault is Group President of Alcoa’s Engineered Products and Solutions organization, a position he assumed in January 2011. He has strategic and operational responsibility for Alcoa’s global efforts in the aerospace, automotive, commercial transportation, building and construction, oil and gas, defense, and fastening systems areas. Olivier oversees the following Alcoa businesses: Alcoa Power and Propulsion, Alcoa Fastening Systems, Alcoa Forgings and Extrusions, Alcoa Wheel and Transportation Products, and Building and Construction Systems. This group of businesses had approximately $3.8 billion in revenues in 2012.
Olivier is also a member of the Alcoa Executive Council, the senior leadership group that sets strategic direction for the company. He was elected an executive vice president of the company in 2011 and elected a vice president of Alcoa in 2006.
Most recently, Olivier served as Chief Operating Officer for Alcoa Engineered Products and Solutions. In this assignment, he was accountable for the Alcoa Fastening Systems, Alcoa Wheel and Transportation Products, and Building and Construction Systems businesses.
Oliver joined Alcoa in 2002 as President of Alcoa Fastening Systems, a supplier of joining systems under the Huck and Fairchild products brand for aerospace and commercial customers worldwide, shortly after Alcoa acquired Fairchild Fasteners from The Fairchild Corporation.
During his tenure with The Fairchild Corporation, Oliver held several senior roles, including Vice President, Manufacturing; Vice Chief Operating Officer for U.S. Operations; and Chief Operating Officer. Earlier in his career, Olivier worked for LISI Aerospace, a manufacturer of fastening solutions, in executive positions in North America and Europe.
Olivier obtained a master of science degree in 1986 in mechanical engineering from California Institute of Technology and in 1998 obtained an MBA degree from UCLA. He serves on the Center for Global Management Advisory Board at UCLA's Anderson School of Management. He was born in Lille, France on March 22, 1961, and came to the U.S. in 1985. He and his wife, Farah, have one child.
