Mark Davies

Mark Davies joined Alcoa in January 2012 as an Alcoa executive vice president and President of the company's Global Business Services (GBS) organization. In this role, he is responsible for leading an integrated GBS organization consisting of Procurement, Shared Services and Information Technology. Mark also works on special strategic projects key to Alcoa’s profitable growth. The GBS organization consists of approximately 1,700 employees based in 20 countries. Mark is also a member of the Alcoa Executive Council, the senior leadership group that sets strategic direction for the company.
Mark joined Alcoa from Dell Inc., where he spent 12 years, most recently as the Managing Vice President of Strategic Programs, helping to lead the global business transformation of the company. Prior to that, Mark served as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the Global Consumer Group, a $13 billion enterprise with operations in five regions and 45 countries. Earlier in his career at Dell, Mark was CFO for the company’s first Global Operations organization, which included Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Logistics, R&D, and Product Marketing. He also held roles in sales, operations and corporate center functions as Dell grew from $14 billion to $62 billion in revenue and over 100,000 employees.
Mark began his career at Hewlett Packard in financial operations and ultimately held positions in Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Procurement and Accounting for a number of international operations. Mark holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Western Washington University and an MBA in Finance from Arizona State University.
