Ferndale, Washington 2007 (Intalco Works)

To commemorate Alcoa's Month of Service, around 30 Intalco Works employees planted 200 native trees along a nearby creek as part of a habitat restoration project by the Nooksack Salmon Enhancement Association.

The creek is an important part of the local watershed, and the trees will help in efforts to restore salmon levels in the area.
