Hampton, Virginia 2006

Alcoa's Howmet Castings in Hampton donated three Yorktown snowflower trees to the Watermen's Museum as part of the Jamestown 2007 "America's Anniversary Garden" program. The program was one of many to commemorate the 400th anniversary of the founding of Jamestown, the first permanent English settlement in America.

The Yorktown snowflower tree was the official tree of the commemoration.
