Shanghai, China 2006
On March 16, 35 employees from Alcoa Shanghai Aluminum Products (ASAP) planted 1,803 trees and seedlings in the Jiangchuan community's greenbelt. The location distributed an additional 489 seedlings to its employees for planting in other areas of Shanghai.
To date, the employees of ASAP have planted 7,415 trees for the Ten Million Trees program.
