As part of 2004 Earth Day celebrations, more than 80 employees and family members cleaned the Collingwood plant property as well as a portion of Harbourview Park in Collingwood. Following a barbeque at the site, participants received a white pine seedling for planting in their own backyards.
The plant manager and co-chair of the facility's Joint Environmental, Health & Safety Committee also planted a tree at Harbourview Park.
