Mountain Waters of the Czech Republic
The headwater areas of North Bohemia have been damaged by acid atmospheric deposition and commercial forestry. Daniel Frank (Evansville, Indiana, USA) and Charles Soord (Huntly Mine, Australia) will help scientists identify optimal strategies to rehabilitate this area and verify the environmental effects of those strategies in the Jizera Mountains. May 31-June 13.
