Coral and Coastal Ecology of the Seychelles
Rosana Maria Liem (Poços de Caldas, Brazil) and Olga Savina (Samara, Russia) will participate in the first marine survey of unique coastal ecosystems in the Indian Ocean. They will investigate the marine biodiversity of coral encrusted boulders, intertidal reef flats, and mangrove ecosystems at Desroches Island, which is part of the Seychelles archipelago. July 3-17
