Requesting a Community-Based Grant from Alcoa Foundation

Alcoa Foundation considers grant requests from nongovernmental and nonprofit organizations in communities where Alcoa has a presence.  Local Alcoans live and work in these communities and are well positioned to recommend grant requests to Alcoa Foundation for funding.

Nongovernmental and nonprofit organizations located in Alcoa communities must work with a contact at the local Alcoa facility nearest to them.  Before approaching the local Alcoa facility, please review Alcoa Foundation's grant guidelines

A concept paper describing the mission of the organization and the purpose of the request should be sent to the nearest Alcoa facility.  The request must align with one of the Areas of Excellence.  If there is an interest in the grant proposal, you will be contacted by the grants contact at the local Alcoa facility.  You may subsequently be invited to submit an on-line grant application and will be provided with instructions to do so.
