Alcoa Foundation Responds to Chile Earthquake

Alcoa Foundation has responded to the strong 8.8 magnitude earthquake in Chile, committing US$50,000 to the American Red Cross for disaster relief efforts.

The American Red Cross will be supporting the Chilean Red Cross to provide 15,000 families with shelter, emergency medical care, water and sanitation services.

Many of our employees have asked how they can help. To enable contributions from employees worldwide, Alcoa Foundation has set up an online giving portal on the American Red Cross website to accept and track donations.
