Shauna Huang joined Alcoa in 2007. As the Corporate Affairs Vice President of Alcoa China, She is taking lead charge of Government Affairs, Public Relations, CSR initiatives and Internal Communications functions.
Shauna serves as the chief liaison between Alcoa and the government of the People’s Republic of China with direct concern to the company. She leads public relations strategy, is responsible for overseeing and integrating the company’s approach to strategic partnerships, and heads our stakeholder engagement in the Asia-Pacific region. She also serves as the lead representative for the Asia-Pacific region on Alcoa’s Global Public Strategy Lead Team, which provides guidance to Alcoa’s executive management in building relationships with necessary stakeholders, community and government leadership that will strengthen the company’s ability to work together on various issues.
Partnering with Alcoa Foundation, Shauna’s team coordinates Alcoa Foundation initiatives in the Asia-Pacific region in an effort to align Foundation’s priorities with the company’s priorities and advantages in the region to make greatest impact for the community.
Prior to joining Alcoa in 2007, Shauna Huang had worked with Ford Motor Company, in a variety of roles in Government Relations. Her latest position with Ford Motor (China) Ltd. was as the Government Relations Director. Shauna brings a wealth of experience working with multinational companies, and experience in China's leading international trading companies.
