Our Work Environment
Our work climate fosters diversity, open communication and continuous learning, community involvement, and work-life balance.
Diverse and Inclusive: As part of our strategy to achieve an inclusive work environment—in which all employees are respected, valued, and able to contribute—we currently have five company-wide employee resource groups:
- African Heritage Network
- Alcoa Women's Network
- EAGLE (Employees at Alcoa for Gay & Lesbian Equality)
- East Asian Alcoan Association
- HABLO - Hispanics Actively Building Levels of Opportunity
Each group provides information and resources, a support network, and various activities. We expect other employee resource groups to develop in the future.
Community Involvement: Alcoa is committed to improving the quality of life in the communities in which our employees live and work. From employee programs that encourage year-round volunteerism to our Worldwide Month of Service and the very active Alcoa Foundation, we are proud to make a positive and lasting difference in communities around the world.
