  • We currently have three company-wide employee affinity groups, for women, African Americans and the LGBT community. We also have groups based on the demographics of a specific location.
  • Alcoa maintained a 100 rating from the Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s Corporate Equality Index in 2012.
  • Work Life Matters magazine selected us as one of the Top Companies for LGBT Equality in 2011.
  • We were #6 in the 2012 International INNOVATION in Diversity Awards.
  • Alcoa believes in providing opportunity for returning service men and women. In addition to recruiting and hiring veterans, we participate in American Corporate Partners. Through this non-profit organization, Alcoans are mentoring more than 100 veterans.
