Alcoa Fastening Systems Aichach enters partnership with Egypt Air

Alcoa Fastening System (AFS) announced that its distribution & services center for worldwide MRO/Airlines customers, located in Aichach, Germany, has entered into a new partnership with Egypt Air Maintenance & Engineering.
Under the agreement, Egypt Air Maintenance & Engineering will procure the majority of its standard aerospace hardware needs from Alcoa Fastening Systems, and AFS Aichach will provide to Egypt Air its innovative distribution and logistics solution to support the supply chain of these fasteners and other select parts on an exclusive basis.
Eng. Abd El Aziz Fadel, Chairman and CEO of Egypt Air Maintenance and Engineering, said: "This Distribution and Services center marks the start of new technical services to be offered by Alcoa and Egypt Air M&E, serving the Egypt Air customers in the Middle East and Africa". Alain Dickelé, AFS Aichach’s Managing Director, added: "With the signature of this agreement, Egypt Air Maintenance & Engineering and Alcoa Fastening Systems Aichach have set in place the foundation of extended cooperation that will enhance our long and profitable relationship.
