Alcoa Global Cold Finished Products provides quality aluminum impact stock to all major markets.
An aluminum impact as defined by the Aluminum Association is a part formed in a confining die from a metal slug, usually cold, by rapid single stroke application of force through a punch, causing the metal to flow around the punch and/or through an opening in the punch or die.
Alcoa Impact Stock Capabilities
Alcoa Global Cold Finished Products offers Impact stock in the O (annealed) temper for applications requiring improved flow characteristics. Alcoa has the added flexibility of two sawing systems with capabilities that range from 0.500 inches (19mm) minimum length to 21.000 inches (533mm) maximum length. The minimum diameter is from 0.375 inches (9.5mm) with a maximum diameter of 6.000 inches (152mm) for round products. Square and hexagonal shaped products are also available.
