Alcoa Alloy 7075, a cold finished aluminum wrought alloy, offers high strength, tight micro-structural control, adequate machinability and improved stress corrosion control. Indexing off of tight bow and concavity mill tolerances is a plus with Alloy 7075. Fine grain control results in excellent deep drilling, good tool wear and differentiated thread rolling.
General Characteristics of Alcoa Alloy 7075
Very high strength material used for highly stressed structural parts.
The T7351 temper offers improved stress-corrosion cracking resistance.
