Alcoa Fastening Systems Receives Certificate of Appreciation from FHI

Torrance, California…. Alcoa Fastening Systems (AFS) was presented with a Certificate of Appreciation by Fuji Heavy Industries (FHI) U.S.A., Inc. for being actively engaged in the production of various components for the Boeing 787 center wing box, and making an outstanding contribution to the 787 program over the years. AFS supplies a multitude of products, which include sleeved threaded lockbolts, threaded lockbolts, collars, nuts, and bolts from their manufacturing facilities in Carson, Torrance, Fullerton and City of Industry.

FHI has recently delivered its 100th Boeing 787 center wing box to Boeing. “It is truly an honor to receive this recognition from FHI”, said Craig Brown, VP Global Customers & Marketing for AFS. “We value the partnership and look forward to sharing many more milestones with them.”
