Alcoa’s extensive resources are providing the United States Armed Forces with twenty-first century solutions. By collaborating with Boeing, Lockeed Martin and Northrup Grumman, Alcoa’s Advanced Aluminum Aerostructures Initiative (A3I) applies Alcoa’s extensive design and manufacturing methodologies to aerospace solutions. Alcoa’s main objective is to implement the design of low-cost, high-performance aluminum aerostructures on key and diverse military airframes.
