Ferrari’s latest masterpiece, the 599 GTB Fiorano will embark on August 24 for a Panamerican tour.

Ferrari's most powerful V-12 ever is built on an Alcoa spaceframe

For 84 days, the Fiorano will be driven by a team of international journalists as it conquers the land from Brazil to the South American rain forest, the peaks of the Andes, Central America, the Baja peninsula, and the North American continent.

The stunning all-aluminum 599 GTB Fiorano is claimed to be Ferrari’s “most powerful V12-engined production car of all time.” With its lightweight properties and brilliant engineering, the Fiorano sprints from 0 to 100 km in 3.7 seconds.

Alcoa is a sponsor of the Panamerican 20,000. Because of Alcoa and Ferrari’s strong partnership, the Fiorano will be stopping at three Alcoa sites: Alcoa Brazil in Sao Paulo, Rockdale Operations in Texas and the Cleveland Works in Ohio.
