Aluminum has been used by automobile manufacturers as far back as 1901 when Alcoa began fabricating light weight aluminum bodies and parts for automobiles, and already is used in approximately 40% of all hoods and deck. Therefore there's already a great deal of proven experience in repairing aluminum. Repair of aluminum is not difficult, it's just different, much as repair of part made of steels is not difficult; it's just different.
