Result of our 2008 Goals — Our People
Objective: Complete an audit of two of our plants according to the “Healthy Business” standard and make the improvements needed to remain an employer of choice. Results:
- The project was launched but delayed due to the economic context.
Objective: Complete development of the succession management strategy at the regional and provincial levels. Results:
- Completed at the Baie-Comeau Smelter only, where the plan is three-fold: internal succession development, succession among local contractors, Heritage Fund to provide the region with tools to attract and retain human resources.
