Goal: Success of the external Sarbanes-Oxley audits (i.e., corporate financial audits) at the Baie-Comeau and Deschambault smelters
Result:
- All audits were passed with distinction.
Goal: Self-assessment of compliance with Alcoa protocols and standards based on an ongoing 18-month calendar
Results:
- Completed in the Finance, Procurement and Information Technology sectors.
- Establishment of a new approach for EHS beginning in 2007, with a 12-month calendar for critical protocols and a 24-month calendar for others.
