At the Baie-Comeau Smelter, particulate emissions increased slightly in 2010 (2011??) both at the scrubbers and at the roof vents. At the Bécancour Smelter, these emissions decreased thanks to improved performance at the scrubbers. In Deschambault, particulate emissions were relatively stable.
Particulate - Söderberg potrooms
Particulate emissions at the Söderberg potrooms are similar to those recorded in 2010. Emission levels are in line with the target established in the agreement with the Ministère du Développement durable, de l’Environnement et des Parcs, which became a regulated standard in 2011.
