In addition to the production of primary aluminum, Alcoa Canada operates processing plants serving the aerospace and construction industries. Its facilities and plants are mainly located in Québec and Ontario.

Alcoa Canada Global Primary Products (GPP) is made up of the Baie-Comeau, Bécancour and Deschambault smelters, as well as the Bécancour Rod Plant. These four plants, all of which are ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 14001:2004 certified, have an annual production capacity of over one million metric tons of ingots, castings, billets and aluminum rods. GPP Canada employs close to 3,200 people and its activities generate over $1.2 billion in economic spin-offs annually in Québec.

We are also a committed contributor to the Canadian communities in which we operate, providing funds and volunteers for a variety of projects.
