At Alcoa, our health and safety target is zero work-related injuries and illnesses.
We continually push our boundaries and have increased our requirements to reflect our commitment to eliminating all injuries and illnesses. That is why we spare no effort in strengthening our health and safety culture, optimizing our programs and ensuring they are sustainable over the long term.
In accordance with Québec occupational health and safety legislation, joint health and safety committees at each of our facilities take an active part in the health and safety and prevention program. This program includes the choice and use of personal protective equipment, as well as risk identification and control. All employees are represented on the joint committees.
