Alcoa Canada Primary Metals
The contents of the Alcoa Canada sustainability website reflect primarily the activities of Alcoa Canada Primary Metals (ACPM). The company employs more than 3,000 people at its Baie-Comeau, Bécancour, and Deschambault smelters, as well as at its Bécancour rod plant and Alcoa Canada headquarters.
In total, ACPM has an annual output of more than one million metric tons of aluminum ingot, cast parts, billets, and rod. In 2006, ACPM revenues exceeded US$2.7 billion (CA$3.1 billion), generating economic spin-offs of more than US$1.3 billion (CA$1.5 billion) in Québec.
