Alcoa Canada Global Primary Products is an important economic and social partner in its communities.
Alcoa Canada Global Primary Products (GPP Canada) is made up of the Baie-Comeau, Bécancour* and Deschambault smelters, as well as the Bécancour Rod Plant. These four plants, all of which are ISO : 2000 and 14001 certified, have an annual production capacity of roughly one million metric tons of ingots, castings, billets and aluminum rods.
We are also a committed contributor to the Canadian communities in which we operate, providing funds and volunteers for a variety of projects.
