The company distinguished itself both with regard to the evaluation of its practices and its employees as well as by its large size

Alcoa was one of the 17 companies singled out at the 3rd edition of the list of “The Biggest of the Best Companies to Work For”, published today (12/12) by newspaper, O Estado de S. Paulo. The ranked names were obtained from the 15th edition of the survey, the 100 “Best Companies to Work For - Brazil”, carried out by Great Place to Work ® in a partnership with Época magazine (Editora Globo) in August this year. In addition to being named in the Great Place to Work ® survey, the ranked companies had to fulfill criteria based on the number of employees they have and their revenue. Also taken into consideration were the trust the employees have in the working environment and best people management practices, items already evaluated in the 100 “Best Companies to Work For - Brazil” survey. “This recognition underlines all the energy and efforts we’ve put into making our company different and innovative and a place we want to come to everyday”, says Franklin L. Feder, president of Alcoa Latin America & the Caribbean.
