The Alcoa Institutional Intern Program is aligned with the company’s business sustainability strategies. We want to identify talented young people to build a solid career at the company.
Formal training and practical activities contribute to the professional development of our interns.
Besides distance and face-to-face training, the interns also have the opportunity to participate in Alcoa’s Continuing Education Module, which consists of lectures given by company executives to broaden the students’ knowledge of our business.
Interns are encouraged to plan and convene monthly forums to address topics that contribute to their professional development.
At the end of the intern program, a career committee analyzes the possibility of permanent hiring, allowing them to build a solid career at the company.
The intern selection process takes place annually for all the
units of Alcoa in Brazil.
