In 2004, the Alcoa Institute created Bravo! Brazil, a program exclusively for trainees that operates on the same bases as Bravo!. Every 40 hours of volunteer service for the same non-profit institution entitle it to R$ 275.00, which are delivered by the trainee himself/herself. In 2007, the program recorded 4,840 hours of voluntary work and R$ 33,275 was donated to institutions. Poços de Caldas was the unit which had the largest participation by trainees (71%).
