Alcoa is selecting young talent for its Internship Program 2014
In addition to Santo André (SP), the company has vacancies in four locations in Brazil for students on Exact Science and Humanities courses
Registration is open for Alcoa’s Internship Program 2014. The aim of the program is to provide students with the experience of real situations of the corporate world and promote an exchange of information with teaching institutions. It also aims to identify, attract and retain young people for future positions within the company’s various areas and units.
The vacancies are split among the following locations: Santo André (SP), Itapissuma (PE), São Luís (MA), Juruti (PA) and Poços de Caldas (MG).

Who can participate?
The selection process is open to university students on Exact Science and Humanities courses who are scheduled to graduate in December 2014 and December 2015. Knowledge of English (in some areas) and IT is necessary and the candidate must be available for between 18 and 30 hours a week, or fulltime for 6 months. There are opportunities for disabled people and the selection process includes online tests, a group dynamics exercise and interviews.
During the program, the interns have both classroom-based and distance training courses, practical activities and participation in talks given by leaders from Alcoa and by renowned professionals from the market. The company offers an allowance, health insurance, personal accident insurance, travel vouchers or car-parking, meal vouchers or a canteen, special discounts on products and services from companies with which Alcoa has made special arrangements and quality of life and employee support programs.
