Terms of employment
Our main terms of employment are based on the CAO Metalektro. This means that a lot of what we guarantee our employees is covered by that regulation. There are also several additional regulations in operation within our organisation.

Our terms of employment include:

      1. Working/free time
  • Working time: In the regulation we work fixed working times. This applies in every case within our warehouse. In consultation with the departmental manager, it is possible for a number of departments to make variable agreements.
  • A fulltime employee has a right to 25 days holiday and 13 days of shorter working hours. For part-time employees this right is applied on a pro rata basis.

      2. Remuneration
  • Depending on the function you are going to perform, you are then placed in a particular salary scale. These salary scales fall within the CAO salary system or within the Hay salary scales. You agree with your manager on your commitments for the coming year. The performance in that agreement is input for your salary for the next year.
  • Holiday pay: The holiday pay amounts to 8% of the monthly salary and is paid out in June.
  • Shift allowance: Our employees who work on shift receive a bonus payment of 13.3%. in their normal salary.
  • Pension: Our pension, based on the average pay system, is based on the pension fund for the Steel Industry (PME). Alcoa pays 60% of the pension contributions and the employee pays 40%.
  • Travelling allowance: Our organisation gives a travelling allowance in accordance with the applicable fiscal regulations.
  • Child care: Our organisation pays 1/6 of the costs of child care in accordance with the applicable regulations.

      3. Development
  • In order to maintain our position as the market leader, development of our products and employees is necessary. You can therefore expect that we will be closely monitoring developments in the market and reacting appropriately. Of course we also expect that our employees themselves will be thinking about how they can keep up with developments or, even better, anticipate them.
