AWU Enterprise Bargaining Agreement (EBA) Negotiations

Alcoa is in the process of negotiating new EBAs with its West Australian employees who are members of the AWU.

There are two separate EBAs, one for Pinjarra Refinery and one for the ‘combined sites’ of Wagerup and Kwinana refineries, Huntly and Willowdale mines, and Bunbury Port.

The AWU has notified the company that some industrial action is planned for February 12 at the combined sites, and will cease at 11:59pm on that date. (The AWU received approval through a ballot to hold defined action at the combined sites.)

Alcoa has plans in place to minimise any impact on the business, and is committed to negotiating in good faith to achieve the best outcome for both parties.
