Katrina's a winner - Bravo!

Katrina Antony, Business Support Officer from Portland Aluminium is the winner of Alcoa’s March global recognition award for outstanding BRAVO volunteer.
 
Katrina is the volunteer Club Captain at Portland Surf Lifesaving Club and has been chosen because of her passion and commitment to surf lifesaving, safety and her community.
 
Each Alcoa site submitted one nomination based on criteria set out by the Alcoa Foundation but Katrina was the undeniable winner.
 
About Bravo!
Bravo! recognises individual Alcoa employees’ who volunteer 50 hours of personal time, in one year, to a not-for-profit, community or non-governmental organisation. Every Alcoa employee in Australia is entitled to one Bravo! grant of US$250, to donate to their chosen community organisation.
 
Through initiatives like Bravo!, additional resources are made available to communities, and it allows Alcoa employees to personally identify areas of the community which they feel need support.
