Every October is Alcoa’s annual ‘Month of Service’ — a time when we encourage employee volunteerism and celebrate our volunteering heroes. During Month of Service 2009, Alcoa employees in Australia participated in more than 109 volunteering activities with community and not-for-profit organisaitons. More than 2000 Alcoans got involved , with a 12 per cent increase in participation compared with 2008.
