Vacation students at Alcoa participate in a 12 week program specifically designed to optimise their exposure and practical experience in your chosen discipline.
We choose vacation students who have a strong academic record, initiative, ambition, energy and team orientation.
Alcoa’s environment fosters communication, involvement, knowledge-sharing and teamwork which ensures we maximise our vacation students' full learning potential and the company’s success at the same time.
Vacation students work alongside a mentor and manager who assist and coach them through selected projects, ensuring they gain the hands-on experience they are looking for.
In addition, Alcoa views successful vacation students favourably when considering candidates for the Alcoa Graduate Program - a program which can provide the key to a successful career.
