Tours - have been suspended until December 2009
Tours of Portland Aluminium are available free of charge and include a guided drive through the operation and surrounding parkland, giving a unique insight into one of the world's most efficient aluminium smelters.
Public tours are conducted on Monday and Wednesdays and take approximately 1-2 hours. Bookings are essential. To book a place on one of the public tours, please call the Portland Visitor Information Centre on 1800 035 567.
Tours can also be catered to your group’s specific needs and can cover topics such as production, chemistry, environment, human resources/careers, recycling and safety. For more information, please call the Community Relations Officer on (03) 5521 5463.
