Community Partnerships
It is our aim to ensure the communities where Alcoa operates have networks that create opportunities for people, organisations and business to participate more fully in the economic, social and cultural areas of that community.
Alcoa Point Henry supports the local community through its Partnering Stronger Communities program. The program incorporates financial and in-kind support such as employee volunteering, and focuses on a shared commitment to making local communities stronger and a better place to live and work.
In 2008, Alcoa Point Henry partnered with around 80 local community partners through around 100 different projects and activities under the Partnering Stronger Communities program.
