Community Partnerships
Each year Alcoa’s Pinjarra Refinery allocates a sum of money to local communities within its operational area.
Last year, $336,000 was distributed to communities across Alcoa’s Areas of Excellence, which cover:
- Safe and healthy children and families
- Future Leaders of Industry
- Arts for Life
- Conservation and Sustainability
- Sustainable Communities
- Volunteers for Life
In addition to these contributions, Alcoa employees have the opportunity to raise funds for an organisation or group which they are associated with, through volunteering with the company’s Bravo! and ACTION programmes.
