Aluminium can recycling uses only 5% of the energy needed to make a new can from scratch. The Yennora site plays a significant role in diverting waste from landfill and contributes over $70 million in value added manufacturing in the Western Sydney region. At the site visitors can see a closed loop recycling process from the return of used aluminium cans through to the production of new canned sheet material ready to be made into new aluminium cans. To visit please contact our friendly Community Relations Office on (+61) 2 9681 9554 or email us.
