Since our earliest beginnings we have been opening our doors, to open people’s eyes and student’s minds to the amazing technology used to sustainably mine and transform the red rock-like mineral bauxite into light-weight, shining aluminium.
In Victoria our operations include two aluminium smelters at Point Henry and Portland, a rolled products plant also in Point Henry as well as a brown coal mine and power station at Anglesea.
Our free Victorian public tours give you the opportunity to experience many different aspects of our operations – smelting, rolling, power generation and coal mining and rehabilitation.
